Aareon Group strengthens technology and operations and reshapes its leadership

Mainz, 14 July 2025 – Aareon Group is welcoming two experienced executives to its leadership team, adding strength in product development and operations.

Dr. Wieland Schreiner, joining in October, will be responsible for technology and the product portfolio. He held various senior positions at SAP over many years and played a central role in the development of enterprise resource planning system, SAP S/4HANA. He brings extensive experience in cloud architectures, AI-driven solutions and the design of forward-looking platforms.

Fermín Peleteiro, joining in August, will take on responsibility for operations. He brings broad in-ternational leadership experience from senior roles at Eightfold AI and global software companies such as Workday, with a focus on enhancing the customer experience, streamlining internal processes and systems, and driving strategic growth initiatives.

Sabrina Dick will assume Group-level responsibility for People & Culture. She currently leads the function in the DACH region and will step into an expanded role.

The leadership team around Harry Thomsen is completed by François Vauthier, Bas Joosten and Katrin Benig, who have been instrumental in shaping the Group’s direction and will continue to play a key role in its ongoing development.

Dr. André Rasquin and Dr. Ernesto Marinelli are leaving the company at their own request. Rasquin will take on a CEO role outside the company. Over many years, he shaped the company’s technology direction and made significant contributions to strengthening the product landscape. Marinelli is also pursuing a new professional opportunity. He repositioned the People & Culture function with empathy and foresight, establishing a culture of trust, agility and future-oriented collaboration.
