We use technical and organisational measures to protect the data you provide to Aareon from accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, erasure or access by unauthorised persons. We improve our security measures on an ongoing basis in line with the latest technological developments. We also use encryption to protect confidential personal data transmitted via the Internet.

All our employees are required to maintain confidentiality in accordance with Section 5 of the German Federal Data Protection Act.

    Our websites use Piwik. This is an open source web analytics application that provides statistical analysis of visits to our websites. Piwik uses cookies.     The personal data you provide voluntarily is stored and used for the purposes described in each case.

Right to information and Public Directory of Procedures

In accordance with applicable law, we will inform you in writing of the personal data we hold about you on request. Our Public Directory of Procedures summarises the information required under Section 4e of the German Federal Data Protection Act.

4. Purposes of collecting, processing or using data

The company provides advisory services, software products, support and IT services (including commissioned data processing) to the property industry. It collects, processes and uses data to provide and operate the products and services described above.

The data is erased after the expiry of the retention period prescribed by law. Where commissioned data processing services pursuant to Section 11 of the German Federal Data Protection Act are concerned, responsibility for erasure lies with the client in each case.

No transfer to third states is planned. Transfers may take place in individual cases in the context of existing contractual relationships pursuant to Section 11 of the German Federal Data Protection Act and in the context of contractual communication with bodies outside the EU.
